Adidas Basketball

For Adidas Basketball, our team at Iris Worldwide was brought on to help define the look and feel for a major campaign centered around the WNBA champion Candace Parker’s 2022 Adidas x Ace shoe collection. This work spanned strategic direction, visual development, and creative execution to elevate the product story across digital and social platforms.

The goal was to craft a visual identity that felt both authentic to basketball culture and distinctive to the Adidas brand voice — balancing performance heritage with personal narrative. Working closely with Adidas and Candace Parker, we shaped naming conventions, art direction, and graphic systems that connected each drop in the collection with meaningful themes tied to Parker’s life and values.

Our scope included:

  • Concept & Strategy — Establishing foundational ideas that guided the visual language and campaign positioning.

  • Art Direction — Defining the tone, style, and personality of the creative system used throughout the campaign.

  • Graphic Toolkit Development — Creating adaptable assets and design elements that Adidas’s internal teams could apply consistently across deliverables.

This collaboration resulted in a cohesive campaign identity that elevated the Adidas Basketball offering while honoring the personal story and legacy of one of the sport’s most influential athletes.
