NHL on TNT
For the launch of NHL on TNT, we developed the foundational visual system for a newly built broadcast studio designed to support immersive, real-time storytelling. The project required close collaboration across design, engineering, and broadcast teams to ensure the graphics worked seamlessly within a live production environment.
Our role focused on defining the look and feel of the on-air studio graphics, including environmental content, loopers, transitions, and show moments that integrate directly into the physical set. All graphics were designed with real-time playback in mind, allowing for flexibility during live broadcasts.
We collaborated closely with Disguise Technologies to adapt our motion design work into a real-time workflow, ensuring the graphics could be triggered, updated, and manipulated live within the studio. This partnership was critical in bridging creative intent with technical execution, especially within a fast-paced broadcast setting.
The result is a dynamic studio environment that blends physical design with real-time graphics, supporting NHL on TNT’s modern broadcast identity while enabling flexible, story-driven presentation throughout each show.
