CYHI and Pusha T
I had the opportunity to collaborate with Hip-Hop artist CyHi on the music video for his single “Mr. Put That Sh*t On,” the first release from his upcoming concept album Mr Egot, featuring Pusha T. The album explores the journey of Philip Michael Thomas, the accomplished actor and musician who coined the term “EGOT,” blending storytelling, homage, and imaginative visuals into a larger narrative. Creative & Technical Role
For this project, I was responsible for the design and animation of key visual elements that give the video its dynamic, high-energy look. This included:
Main and starring titles – establishing the opening tone and visual identity of the video.
Analog glitch sequences – adding texture, intensity, and an intentionally raw, edgy aesthetic.
Pyro/fire visual effects – enhancing dramatic moments and elevating the visual impact.
Working closely with CyHi and the director, I helped integrate these elements seamlessly into the live-action footage, ensuring they complemented the narrative rhythm and the music’s energy while maintaining a cohesive visual style.
Outcome
The resulting video delivers a highly stylized, visually compelling experience that reflects both CyHi’s storytelling vision and the concept of Mr Egot. My contributions helped elevate the energy and cinematic quality of the video while reinforcing its narrative and musical impact.
