GRIZ Tour Visuals
This project was an ongoing collaboration with the team at JAWHOSAPHAX, creating custom live visuals for GRiZ’s Rainbow Brain tour. The goal was to design immersive, high-energy visual content that could support GRiZ’s evolving sound and stage presence—enhancing the live experience while remaining flexible enough to scale across venues.
I developed full-length visual sequences for multiple tracks, including “TieDye Sky,” “Vibe Check,” and “The Baddest.” Each piece was crafted to run for the entire duration of the song, designed specifically for live performance environments where rhythm, pacing, and visual impact are critical. My responsibilities spanned concepting, design, and animation, using Cinema 4D (Octane), After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop to create layered, music-driven visuals that felt energetic, playful, and surreal.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this project was seeing the visuals come to life on stage—particularly at Red Rocks and later in Atlanta, where I was able to experience the work live in person. Watching the audience react in real time reinforced the power of motion design as a performance element, transforming sound into a fully immersive visual experience.
