Squidbillies Season 11

My first professional role in the industry, was as a Junior Compositor on Season 11 of Squidbillies for Adult Swim, while working at Awesome Incorporated. This project marked my entry into professional broadcast animation, where I supported post-production and visual effects across multiple episodes of a long-running, culturally iconic series.

Working under Lead Compositor Jamie Galatas, I collaborated on several episodes throughout the season, including Dove in an Iron Cage, Jacksonville Jackass, Debased Balls, Tortuga de Mentiras, Duel of the Dimwits, and The War on The War on Christmas. My responsibilities focused on compositing animation created in Flash, using After Effects to enhance scenes with visual effects such as lighting, smoke, fire, and explosions. I also contributed to camera moves, character staging, set extensions, background animation, and title treatments, ensuring each episode maintained visual consistency while adding depth and energy to the final output.

This experience helped establish my technical foundation in compositing and motion design, sharpening my eye for timing, polish, and storytelling within a fast-paced broadcast production environment. It laid the groundwork for my continued growth in motion design and creative direction across larger-scale brand and experiential work.
