Amex Art Basel 2023

For Miami Art Week 2023, American Express hosted Play by American Express Platinum, an experiential activation that blended art, nostalgia, and play. The experience partnered with renowned artists Shantell Martin and Daniel Arsham to create a limited-edition collection of toys, interactive installations, and exclusive activities for Platinum Card Members. To support the activation, American Express collaborated with Playlab and Mattel Creations to develop a digital web experience that informed audiences and built excitement ahead of the event.

As Lead Motion Designer, I created a suite of digital motion experiences designed for desktop and mobile, running in parallel with the physical activation. I concepted, designed, and animated multiple assets for the American Express website, translating the playful, collectible-driven energy of the event into a refined digital expression. I collaborated closely with designers, art directors, and developers to ensure the motion system felt cohesive, intuitive, and on brand—helping extend the impact of the activation beyond the physical space and reinforcing Platinum’s connection to contemporary art and culture.
