September on TCM
This project was created for Turner Classic Movies as a promotional spot for their September programming. The concept focused on highlighting meaningful moments from film history while honoring medical heroes, blending cinematic nostalgia with a tone of gratitude and reflection.
I was responsible for designing and animating graphics that enhanced key moments throughout the piece. The visual approach centered on subtle, elegant motion that complemented the archival footage while elevating the emotional tone of the message. A key element of the spot was the gold brush typography, which I designed to evoke warmth, prestige, and timelessness. The text was then brought to life in SideFX Houdini by 3D artist Andrew Weiler, adding a dynamic, handcrafted quality to the animation.
The project was executed using Cinema 4D with Octane and After Effects, combining 3D and compositing techniques to create a cohesive and refined final piece. The result was a visually rich promo that balanced storytelling and design, supporting TCM’s message while maintaining a premium, cinematic feel.
